The New ComSystem has been designed to deliver the best in communication systems for today's motorcyclist. Specially designed and targeted for all K 1200 LT owners, the ComSystem enables the rider to manage all audio components, communicate with the passenger, other riders or individuals in a group of motorcycles or vehicles, and communicate with the home or office.

The K 1200 LT Communications Center offers a dazzling array of options for interfacing with CB Radio, Kenwood FreeTalk two-way radio system or your cellular phone. It all starts with the BC-1 Communications System.

Allows cellular phones to be used as well as other communication devices. Please consult BMW Motorcycles of Detroit or a telephone specialist for additional information, depending on your equipment.

A Midland 75-820 4-watt CB radio. Multi-channel scanning, including local weather and hazard information. The portable unit can be operated on a battery pack with a whip antenna (included). FCC requires a push-to-talk switch when the CB radio is used on a motorcycle. 40-channel scan mode with instant access to five memory channels, emergency channel 9 and road information (channel 19). Dual watch permits monitoring two channels.

Required by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) when using the Kenwood FreeTalk¨ radio or BMW CB Radio System. Mounted conveniently on the handlebar, the PTT switch attaches directly to the PTT cable from the CB.

Similar to the Rider PTT Switch, this conveniently located switch allows passenger control of the Kenwood FreeTalk¨ and BMW CB radio systems. (FCC requires PTT switch.)

Holds up to six CDs. Excellent for long trips.

The Kenwood FreeTalk Two-Way Radio provides bike-to-bike communications from half a mile to two miles, depending upon terrain. Operates for 40 hours on three AA batteries or rechargeable battery pack. Provides 14 channels, 38 talk groups. Can also be unplugged and used as a walkie-talkie. (FCC requires PTT switch.)

Developed to connect a Kenwood FreeTalk¨ receiver to the BMW Helmet Headset (part # 99 99 0 000 033/034) see item #20 on pg. 45. The kit includes a removable (Velcro) PTT switch with coil cord, enabling communication between the rider, passenger and other riders in the group, using a Kenwood FreeTalk¨. Unit is portable and perfect when you own more than one motorcycle. (BC unit is not required.)

The extension will enable the use of a BMW Full Face Headset Kit when installing it to a flip-up-face style helmet. It allows the flip-up chin protector to stay connected to the microphone.

Perfectly matched to the K 1200 LT audio system and the BMW BC Communications System. Provides exceptional audio quality through patented Dynaport speakers and special pre-amplified Aeromike microphone. The preamplified microphone is matched to the BC for excellent VOX intercom switching, even at higher speeds. Headset cords are sold separately.

Two Headset Cords are available for use with the Headset Kits - a rider cord and a passenger cord. Each is designed for quick connection and delivers crisp clear sound. Additional cords are available for use of the helmet with the BMW headset to connect to almost any motorcycle sound system on the market. Please consult your BMW Motorcycle Retailer for correct application.

Available for Nokia and Ericsson phones only. The kit includes: antenna with lead, phone connector and all necessary hardware for installation.

Special matching right-side antenna is required to complete the BMW CB Radio System. (FCC requires PTT switch.)
